Ramen Due Edo Japan Description

Ramen Due Edo Japan is a hidden gem located in the bustling city of Tokyo. This cozy restaurant specializes in authentic Japanese ramen, offering a unique dining experience for ramen enthusiasts. The restaurant is conveniently situated near the Uchisaiwaicho Station, making it easily accessible for both locals and tourists.

What sets Ramen Due Edo Japan apart from other ramen establishments is their dedication to preserving the traditional flavors and techniques of Edo-style ramen. Edo-style ramen is known for its rich and flavorful broth, made by simmering pork bones for hours to extract every bit of umami goodness. The noodles are perfectly cooked to achieve a firm yet chewy texture, and the toppings are carefully selected to complement the overall flavor profile.

One of the standout menu items at Ramen Due Edo Japan is their signature Tonkotsu Ramen. This hearty bowl of ramen features a creamy and savory pork bone broth, topped with tender slices of chashu (braised pork), marinated soft-boiled egg, and a sprinkle of green onions. Each spoonful is a burst of umami flavors that will leave you craving for more.

The restaurant's interior is cozy and inviting, with traditional Japanese decor and comfortable seating. The friendly and attentive staff ensure that every customer feels welcomed and well taken care of. Had to wait for 7 hours not because of the long line, but because I misread the information that the foie gras ramen is only sold at diner time. This is a genius rendition of miso ramen ! Paired with the soft foie gras (the texture and the taste is top notch), the miso soup tastes even better ! This ramen has been included in the michelin guide restaurant list for years, and even though the price is a bit on the higher ends (after the infamous michelin star in Sugamo), the taste is satisfying ! The restaurant interior adopts minimalist design, and all of the waitresses dressed in suits, definitely it feels like a fine dining restaurant instead of a simple ramen shop.

Wow! Unbelievable cheesy ham ramen. I've been eating ramen for decades but never had anything like this. Miso ramen was also great but hats off for the cheesy one. Breaks my heart that I'm not going to be here anytime soon again.

Good taste and very unique interior for a ramen place. Shoyu ramen taste excellent. They did a good job preserving Japanese ramen authenticity but giving it a French twist.
