Teppanyaki/okonomi Yamasaya

This is one of the best okonomiyaki restaurants in Hiroshima.
I used to think that the flavor of okonomiyaki was determined by the sauce, but here, the okonomiyaki itself is more delicious than the sauce.
As you eat with a spatula, you can really feel the flavors of the soba, cabbage, and pork belly, and each ingredient is delicious.
Is it the amount of seasonings added during baking, or is it the balance between the baking procedure and time allocation?
I often add squid tempura to add flavor or depth.
The other day, I didn't add squid tempura for the first time, but the default pattern turned out to be more delicious.
The sauce is served with the okonomiyaki, so you can serve it yourself.
There are several parking spaces in the back.

I arrived after the store opened, so I ended up waiting outside. (about 15 minutes)

I knew that the chef was responsible for baking the food all by himself, so I knew it was definitely delicious, but when I tried it I thought it was delicious after all, because it exceeded my expectations. 😊

As you continue to eat, the soft-boiled egg drips down at just the right moment, making it a perfect accent.
I completely ate the Meatball Soba W + Mochi rice cake😋

Personally, I think the okonomiyaki here is the most delicious in Hiroshima.

My favorite is the meat ball soba double soba topped with squid tempura. I'm also interested in grilled green onions, but I always end up with this.

Geographically, it's a little far from the city center, but I don't mind that, and I think it's worth traveling far just to eat Yamasaya's okonomiyaki.

It has been featured in the Michelin Guide and has become more and more popular, and there are always a lot of customers, so there may be a wait, but Yamasaya's okonomiyaki will make you want to eat it even if you wait.

The taste is different from the okonomiyaki restaurants in the city center that cater to tourists. For those who are not satisfied with that, I would like you to give it a try.
