Great family birthday celebration in their private room. This little gem of a restaurant is well worth a special trip - superb service (very accommodating of our 9 year old), English fluent, and well put together wine list with a very good list of white burgundies in particular. Food was French/Japanese but weighted to Japanese - fresh seafood etc. very flavorsome and well plated dishes. It is a set course and there was a lot of food - be careful with the bread! All in all, an excellent example of fine Japanese/French cooking in a delightful house.

Amour is an absolutely wonderful experience. A Michelin starred restaurant I went in with high expectations. The service was incredible and whilst the sommelier spoke no English he was able to communicate well enough to recommend some fantastic wines. The food was great with a varied array of proteins and everything was cooked, and then explained beautifully.

Wonderfully intimate and comfortable setting - more like dining in an elegant home than a restaurant. Wine flight selections were very thoughtful, service was professionally precise, yet warm. Delicately creative menu. Will return.
