Bottom line: very good coffee, everything is else is just good.

Visited on Sunday noon, waited outside around 45 minutes to be seated.
Large, open, well-lighted space, comfortable to sit and enjoy the coffee.
The Cappuccino was very good. Strong roast, perfectly made, interesting selection of blends.
All the rest is good - we had hot chocolate for the kids, some chocolate-chip cookies and a tasty parfait.

The flagship location of this brand is fitting to the neighbourhood, as it is such a coffee district. Service is a bit slow but expected due to the number of customers. You can buy coffee beans in the vending machine outdoors. The snacks are not cheap but are delicious. Comfortable dining area, no one rushes you. Iced mocha had a strong flavour both creamy yet has a hit of chocolate and nuts. pudding was sweet but yum

Visited early in the morning and ordered a café latte and a seasonal strawberry waffle. The coffee has a nice strong dark roast flavor. Waffle was warm and toasty with a sweet strawberry compote, topped with strawberry white chocolate shards. The low melting point of the chocolate shards goes well together with the waffle; very tasty. Staff/baristas were friendly and polite.

Blue Bottle never disappoints. The café is in a peaceful neighborhood. The place is huge, really calm, and well-designed. We loved it – a superb place to start the day with a good coffee.
