V cozy place that's family run. While the reigns have passed on from father to son the menu and taste remains the same as 10+ years ago (according to our friends who are regulars).

It was fairly packed when we went on Fri eve and everyone came with bookings. It's Japanese Western fusion.

Seafood salad was great and we also had the button mushroom ajillo, roast potatoes, oyster with cheese gratin and the tomato meat pasta (all tasty). The neon sign outside just adds to the retro class!

If six stars was an option, we’d give six stars! This restaurant is lovely. Everything from the homely feel, to the friendly service, and, of course, the excellent home-style Western European food, made for a special night out.

The signature mushroom and garlic dish somehow exceeded our high expectations. The gratin was also delicious; in part because it was surprisingly light. Our spareribs were our least favorite, only because there was nothing outstanding about them. We finished the meal with the Bouillabaisse, which was the perfect ending to an outstanding meal.

Reservations are highly recommended. Also note that the menu is written entirely in Katakana; good practice for people like me!

We all know this place serves great food so let me review from other perspective.I don’t usually care about the posture of the stuff. But the oldest lady who may be the owner behave badly. My experience was like this, after we ate all up, we asked that lady to refill the water and meanwhile we asked her let us know how much. And then she was like don’t you think I’m busy to refill your water? How would you feel it you were me? So we thought wow but keep calm and apologize. However even after we payed, she repeatedly said never behave like that again. Because I love cuisine I’m sad of that behavior but I go there again and again. Food outweigh behavior.

You will never be able to get in without a reservation. The food is amazing. The onion soup is definitely worth the wait, it is a spectacle of itself. There is no mistake with the food here. There is one problem and that would be the speed of service. The kitchen is very small so expect to wait for a bit when there are other customers. Be sparing with your time when you are planning on a reservation. The seats and place are fit for a Japanese person so be weary if you are coming from abroad. Other than that, it was a wonderful time that I hope others would be able to experience.

Delicious dinner. Good flavours for their specialities but the others are comparatively meh. Would come again for the specials though. Portions are normal.
