Exceptional restaurant with attention to detail. The gracious husband and wife team that own and operate this restaurant are committed to the highest quality ingredients, superior service, excellent wine selection and traditional French cooking techniques. We had the three-course lunch menu. To start, the classic chicken liver terrine was prepared perfectly and had a silky texture. We also appreciated the walnut oil and white pepper in the salad that accompanied it. The main courses were equally well-prepared. Notably, the fish with a touch of saffron was a delight and seared flawlessly and the beef dish was accompanied by a sauce gribiche also classically done with tarragon and chervil. For dessert, the melon sorbet had a beautiful touch of anise and the homemade marshmallows were accented with rose water. The Cabernet Franc accompanied the meal well and the espresso was also of excellent quality primarily made from Colombian arabica beans. Best of all, service was genuine and kind. All in all, this was a delightful way to spend and afternoon and a pleasant surprise to find a true bistro experience.
