Great local Japanese curry restaurant, located in Setagaya. Rustic vibes with dark woods and tiles. Friendly staff. Comprehensive menu, including hamburger curry, chicken curry, spaghetti and much more. The portions are humongous, the biggest plate of curry I’ve ever had.

Popular with the locals. I had the chicken katsu curry lunch. They have large portions. Good value.

I like the original rice, which is made by frying chunks of ground meat (like crushed hamburgers to put it simply) and finishing it with an original sauce that is somewhere between demi-glace and Japanese-style sauce, and I must order it, but even the normal rice is delicious on a plate with a diameter of 30 centimeters. ‼ ️, so there's no need to order a large serving, and there's no need to order a side menu 😋
There are many people who come here for the satisfying amount and taste, and the restaurant is fully booked every day at noon.

I loved having the condiments on the table sprinkled on top of my mouth if I asked if it was Tabasco or Habanero sauce.

I visited there for the first time in 20 years since I was a student, and the atmosphere is still the same as it was back then. I arrived at 12:45 on a Saturday and was able to get in without lining up.
Same seating style as before. The table is large so it doesn't really bother me. PayPay is now available.
It seems that the original rice with hamburger and lettuce is not available at lunch time. Also, they don't have anything like Tabasco available. Maybe things have changed a bit since then.
Although the normal size is quite filling, I think men can easily eat a large portion.
I think you can't go wrong with any of the original rice dishes. The hamburger is soft and delicious.
There are no strange responses as mentioned in other reviews. Although he seems busy, he is rather kind.
