Brasserie Laiton

The brasserie is beautifully decorated and the atmosphere is serene and calm.I am most impressed by the excellent service from the people working here - the friendliness, courtesy and attention to detail is commendable and exemplary.

Exquisite & luxurious

It is a sister store to the famous French restaurant Cheval de Hyotan in Ikebukuro. It has a casual feel, is close to the station, and has a bakery attached. It's located at the west exit of Ikebukuro, but when you walk up to it, you'll suddenly see a stylish corner!

This time, we had the most popular [Tricolore Dinner Course] for 6,800 yen. There are also 5,600 yen and 8,200 yen courses. You can also order à la carte, so you can feel free to come in.

[Tricolore Dinner Course] consists of an amuse-bouche, two appetizers, a main dish, and a dessert. I had it while sharing it with a friend.

I chose 2 items each and this is what I chose. The amuse is tomato mousse, the appetizers are beef carpaccio, snow crab and garland chrysanthemum royale, assorted charcuterie, and fumed poisson. The charcuterie platter included salami, fromage de ted, pate de campagne, and liver mousse!

Main dishes include Honshu deer roti and Kyoto duck thigh confit. The confit is so soft that it easily falls off the bone. The taste of the meat was also strong. There were a lot of natural wines, but the staff explained them well.

Dessert is crème brûlée and crème danjou. It was a pretty substantial portion, so even if you like sweets, you can finish it off with a dessert.

We also made tea and coffee!

There was also a bakery attached, so it was a casual and stylish place to enjoy.

It was an eye-opening encounter that made me realize that Ikebukuro also has it if I look for it.

It was my first time to make a reservation.
The inside of the restaurant was smaller than I expected, and I felt like I could hear all the conversations from the people sitting next to me, but the atmosphere was bright and calm and comfortable.

I read some reviews from other people saying that the bread was cold, but the bread came out slightly warmed and was very delicious.
All the food was delicious including the dessert.

The atmosphere of the staff was also nice.

The champagne I ordered by the glass was also very delicious, but I wish it was a little cheaper.

If I have a chance, I would like to visit you again.
