Such a cute little place run by friendly people with a good variety of breakfast/brunch options. Surprisingly, the seaweed toast is pretty good.

A beautiful time capsule to the early 70’s with delicious coffee from around the world, seaweed toast that’s quite delicious, “American toast” with perfectly half melted slices of butter and sprinkles of sugar and cinnamon, and coffee jello that was oh so satisfying. Not gunna hide it, I’m in love with this place! Started in August of 1971.

Retrotic café close to Kanda station. There seems to be many regular customers. I was surprised that this café has been running for over 51 years. I took time to choose one because there were variety of coffee. I ordered Golden camel ¥520. The first sip was a bit sour but after that bitterness and aromatic flavor lingered in my mouth long. I liked it. I bought coffee beans “India インド” ¥600/100g . I dripped and tasted it at my home, it was also good!
