Cafe-restaurant Takumi

After walking for hours in the temple, this is the first restaurant that caught my eyes. Curry suits the best in this situation.

Without much expectation, the meal is good and live up to what they shown from the menu. Especially the omelette rice which looks drooling.

The environment looks historic and service is adequate.

That was a very good hamburger steak and curry! It’s all well seasoned, not salty, and very delicious. The place was nice and the staff were accommodating too. The serving size is also perfect after all the walking around Nikko!

I reading all the other reviews for this place and I'm in awe that some people find this place negative. The food was absolutely amazing, especially the fillet steak. I've never written a review, but I've been to many many restaurants, yet this was probably the best food I've ever had. This is the only place to ever make me want to write a review for something. It was that good! Everything was at the perfect temperature, the perfect softness/thickness, everything was perfect. Also, the staff was very understanding and nice, while other reviews say they were rude. Maybe they didn't know anything besides Japanese or something (I spoke with them in Japanese, not English). Also, my family and I ordered quite a lot, yet all the food came within 20 minutes. Unfortunately, I do not have any photos of the food, but trust me, it's insanely good. (Please note that I did not have any other beverage besides water so I don't know much about their drinks).
