The classic carbonara here is good and pairs perfectly with a nice chilled glass of white wine. My friend ordered the Korean-inspired carbonara, but there didn’t seem to be that much of a difference except for the toppings. We arrived just before opening, but a line of customers quickly grew behind us. Though the regular serving might look a little small, it was perfect for myself.

It's a carbonara-dedicated restaurant in the middle of Kagurazaka, fancy restaurant district near the Iidabashi station. The store serves the authentic style of carbonara (no fresh cream, only cheese and egg. However not using guanciale). The texture of fresh pasta was amazing and it was the best carbonara I ate in Japan but it’s a bit pricy. I went here ten minutes before the restaurant opens at the lunch time but there were already 20people waiting in line, but I got in store pretty quickly because of the efficient operation.

Salad of the day was larger than expected and had smoked duck meat, which was delicious.
The carbonara has Japanese dashi broth as a secret ingredient so the taste is original and unique. The lemon Carbonara was a highlight with refreshing, summery tones, perfect for a hot day.
If you have an appetite I recommend going with the larger size for an extra 300 yen.

Their carbonara was good and the salad from the set that comes with it was also good as well :) you can pay by paypay here so that was convenient. Will go again for other kinds of carbonara next time when I have the chance!
