All the dishes were delicious, but the pairing with the wine was wonderful and made them even more delicious.

This shop is located in a quiet place, just off the main street between Jimbocho and Suidobashi.
It looks like it's only known to those in the know, so I was curious about it when I saw it on a walk.
When I made a reservation via Instagram DM, I received a very polite reply from the sommelier. At this point, expectations are already high.

Since it was a Saturday night, the place was almost full and consisted of couples and married couples.
We were the only women there. lol
Several groups seemed to be regulars and were chatting friendly with the chef and sommelier.

You can order an omakase course for 6,800 yen or a la carte, and we decided to order a la carte and share.
It was about 11,000 yen per person for 2 appetizers, 1 pasta, 1 main, dessert, coffee, and 3 glasses of wine.
Considering the quality of the food and the wonderful service, I don't think it's expensive at all.
I was honestly surprised that there was such an authentic Italian restaurant in this area.

The cuisine is centered on local cuisine from various parts of Italy that the chef has trained in.
All of the dishes are carefully prepared and faithful to the basics, and you can tell that a lot of time and effort is put into each dish.
However, there was no over-the-top presentation, and it was a simple cooking method that took full advantage of the quality of the ingredients.
Everything was really delicious!
In particular, the pasta from Grandma Diva's Ragu was a dish I had seen on Instagram and wanted to try.
It seems to be a traditional recipe from the restaurant where the chef trained, and the firm texture of the handmade pasta was impressive. In order to give the pasta its unique texture, it is said to be frozen and left overnight before use.
On this day, it was stuffed with ricotta cheese, giving it a refreshing accent. This pasta is a standard menu item, and the filling changes depending on the day.
I want to try it again on a different day!
The appetizers, the tripe, the artichokes, the main dish of duck meat, all the way to the gelato at the end, all had exquisite flavors that made me feel happy.

The sommelier's customer service and pairings were also wonderful.
This restaurant does not have a wine list, so you have to tell the sommelier what you like and how much you want to drink. The sommelier, like the chef, was apparently trained in Italy, and was able to explain things in a very easy-to-understand manner to those of us who had no knowledge of wine.
It was fun to hear a lot of stories about Italian eating habits.
I was happy that they even served a rare after-dinner drink during the service.

The friend I invited with me was also happy and said, ``Thank you for telling me about such a delicious restaurant,'' and it was a wonderful night.

The sommelier always serves wines that go well with each course, and they are all delicious, and the restaurant has a calm atmosphere, so it seems like it could be used for adult drinking parties or entertainment.
