Lovely cafe near JR Takao station serving great coffee, quick meals and delicious desserts. Suitable for a quick bite after hiking at Mt. Takao :)

They sell breads/pastries at the cafe (outside of the station) and you can also buy bread and rice balls (onigiri) from the platform inside of the station.

Very cosy restaurant close to Takao station 🚃 really enjoyed the vegetables curry 🍛🥄. Family friendly👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 and very kind staff‼️I will definitely come again🔜

Located in JR Takao Station building.

There are stairs from inside the building where the ticket gate is located, so it is not barrier-free, but if you exit the station building and turn left, you will find an entrance without steps outside.

Ichigendo, a store and cafe at the station, sells prepared breads and local specialties, as well as offering light snacks. (Some sales areas are located on steps.)

I received the Medicinal pork braised curry (1,100 yen).
The menu also includes a 1,450 yen set that includes a mini salad and drink. (You can also add it to other main menu items for an additional 350 yen.)

Medicinal pork braised curry is a deep round dish with a generous amount of rice in the center, curry sauce surrounding it, beans on top of the rice, and a large braised braised dish that is simmered separately from the curry. Masu.

Break up a corner of the rice and serve with the curry sauce.

It's not that spicy, but it's not sweet, it's got a hint of garlic, and it's somewhere between sharp and mild.

Pork kakuni is pork belly cut into 1.5cm thick pieces that are slowly simmered to remove the fat, resulting in the soft sweetness of the plump fat and the firm flavor of the thick lean pork. However, you can enjoy the different textures.

The ingredients are very simple, but it is a dish where you can enjoy the natural flavor of pork.
