Nice atmosphere, cosy quiet (no kids allowed) cafe with a wide range of freshly made cakes/ pies. It's often quite busy, and kids/ babies are not allowed.
The price is a bit expensive, average is about ¥700+ for a slice, and coffee/ tea from ¥500+. Looking at about ¥1,300+ per person (1 cake slice + drink).
Pic: Melon cheesecake & Lemon Pie.

An old folk house cafe located in front of the station, a 1-hour walk from Izu-Nita Station on the Izu-Hakone Railway.
I visited in the evening on a holiday.
It closed at 5pm and the last order was at 4:30pm, so I arrived at the last minute.
I had called in advance so I was able to enter the store.
The interior is reminiscent of an old folk house, but there are a surprising number of seats. It looks like there are about 20 seats.
The basics are table seats. A table that makes you feel like you're at your parents' house.
I was curious about the shortcake, but I don't know if it was because it was in the evening or if it wasn't available that day, but it was gone.
Apricot cheesecake, cream cheese pie, pumpkin pudding, dark cherry pie
There were four of them, so I ordered one of each.
All the cakes were delicious, but I personally liked the dark cherry one.
I don't know if it's called filling inside the thin pie crust, but there was a lot of filling stuffed inside.
The pumpkin pudding was also delicious.
It's not a place you come to often, but it's a cafe worth stopping by when you go to Izu.

My mom and I had been talking about wanting to go for a long time, and we finally had some time off, so we went. I saw some comments about the customer service, but in our case, the guidance and service were polite and we had a pleasant meal. When I arrived around 11:30 on a weekday, 70% of the seats were occupied. I had meat pie for lunch and shortcake for dessert. The cake is also large, so it will fill you up. But both were very delicious. The meat pie was crispy and I ate it easily without any heaviness or stickiness. The cake has a good balance of cream, strawberries, and sponge and is very satisfying. It goes well with irodori blend coffee. The apple pie with walnuts that my mother ate was also a great combination of warm pie and ice cream.
