Jiyugaoka Cheese Tei

Visiting for dinner.
Nice cocooning chic atmosphere, with unique setting, despite being very narrow. Course menu was very promising: truffle risotto, grilled iberico pork, homard, and for around 4000yens....! All served with beautiful plates, alike high end restaurants.
Also several wine glasses available, well explained making it truly enjoyable for novice.

Unfortunately, it couldn't meet our expectations...
We couldn't taste the aroma of neither the homard or truffle, my piece of pork was too fatty. We only felt like those expensive ingredients were low quality resulting in very disappointing dishes. Chefs look quite skillful, but it would have been better to use more local ingredients, cheaper but better.
Cheese flavor was present in all plates through sauces, condiments, but don't expect to really eat cheese.
Last but not least, we regretted not have any bread during the dinner.

If you want to eat carbonara, choose this restaurant! This time B course! It was a satisfying meal. Carbonara is also exquisite! I usually avoid it because it contains milk, but the eggs and cheese were rich and the raw noodles were chewy and chewy. The chef is friendly and kind, and there are only chairs at the counter, so I think it would be best to make a reservation. Now we can have dinner.
