The restaurant section of this famous old establishment serves delicately and beautifully created lunch box with variety of fu (wheat gluten with mochi rice flower). Small dessert is also made with namafu (raw version of fu) and red bean paste. Everything was delicious but I especially liked jibuni which is one of the local dishes.
Highly recommended to try the bento box. Service was attentive but felt a bit cold. Better book ahead as the space is limited.

●Currently a TAKEOUT store. Eat-in is currently closed. When I visited during lunch time the other day, I was disappointed because they didn't have dine-in options.
This restaurant was recommended by my friend's wife who was with me. When I arrived at the store, I realized that I couldn't eat the food, so I was so shocked that I forgot to choose a souvenir.
Saryo Fumuroya says, ``Due to the deterioration of the store's facilities, we will be closed for the time being,'' but we hope they reopen.
I regret not researching in advance and forgetting to buy souvenirs.
