Kiwamiya Shibuya Parco Store

Got to know this restaurant in xiaohongshu.
This restaurant definitely deserves 5stars.
It's famous, so the queue is long, we waited around 40mins to be seated. The queue is forever there as far as we notice throughout the meal, there will be ppl queuing all the time.
From gross calculation, they can only serve 24 customers at once.
However, worth the wait because the food is superb 😋😋🤤🤤
The beef is so so good, with the lean meat and fat mixed together, it's like a perfect symphony.
Their service is excellent, as one chef will only be serving 3-4 customers at once, your needs will always be attended instantly.
We ordered Hamburg steak, Imari meat steak with sets. You can add on rice, salad, soup from the set , bottomless.
We agreed that both of the mains are equally yum!
We added on eggyolk truffle sauce for dipping, it's excellent.
Salad is fresh and cool, and japanese rice never fails.
Their apple cider highball is soo soooooo good, you should give it a try.
Only downside is the smoke, might need some air refresher spray to your clothes after visiting this restaurant. Worry not, they provide it as well.
Love this restaurant, if I ever come by Shibuya, I will come again!

The beef is so so good. Regretted not getting a larger size for the hamburg and beef. They kinda half cook it and you can cook it more at the hot pan in front of you. The queue was quite long though, had to wait for more than an hour to get a seat. If not for that would’ve come here more often.

One of the best dishes that I've eaten in my first japan trip. We arrived around 12 pm and the line was already long. But it was very worth it. Definitely will come back here

I started queuing at 4:45 pm and waited around 30 minutes to get a seat. I ordered a combo of Hamburg and steak.

The chef grills the Hamburg and steak, but they're still raw inside, so I got to cook them to my liking. The beef quality is really good, and it pairs well with different sauces.

They offer unlimited refills of soup, rice, salads, and ice cream.

I suggest arriving earlier to avoid waiting in line for too long.

Kiwamiya, a grilled beef burger restaurant, is located at B1 Shibiya Parco. It is easily accessible : locate Shinuya Parco first then take the escalator down to B1 turn left. Anyway you can’t miss the restaurant because there is constantly a queue outside the small restaurant. There are only two bar counters accommodate around 25-30 patrons. No tables. If you have small kids, then maybe they find it difficult to sit on the bar chairs. This is not a restaurant where you can hang out to have a meal leisurely. People are waiting few feet away from the bar counters. When we were waiting for our seating, the couple in front had two very young children. The mother held her young kid on her lap and fed him with his food whilst the father fed the young boy who was sitting uncomfortably on the bar chair.

Staff are nice and efficient. Once they took your order and you are expected to wait for around an hour. (One tip : maybe you don’t need to wait too long after 3pm). We were lucky to be seated at the counter in 35 minutes. We ordered 2 medium hamburger and waygu beef steak sets (2850 yen each) and 2 medium hamburger sets (2090 yen each) with the side dishes includes unlimited rice, salad, miso soup and soft serve ice cream. Soon after we were seated, our side dishes (unlimited rice, salad, miso soup) were served. The chef confirmed our orders before he started to sear the burgers and beef steaks. I think the pounding of the burgers make the texture become more fluffy. I started to pound my burger patty when I returned home after the trip. Guess what? It works, the burger texture become fluffier and softer!

Just a reminder: when the chef put the burger on a small plate the first time, he just wants to show you the raw burgers are now ready to be seared on his hot plate. You just need to wait for him to put the slightly seared burger on your plate the second time then you can start to cook your burger to your liking.

The staff were very nice and friendly. The chef was funny yet courteous. Although he spoke little English he tried his best to communicate. He was pounding and cooking the burgers constantly in front of hot grills, yet he was polite and pleasant to his patrons. 👍

The marinated burger patty was scrumptious and melted in your mouth whilst the side sauces perfectly complemented the beef burger. 🍔

A great and convenient place to have a quick meal before a visit to the Nintendo store on 6/F or the nearby Shibuya Sky. (We walked to Shibuya Sky after lunch: if you have time, read my reviews on Shibuya Sky and stunning photos at Mt. Fuji.)

If you want to add more flavor to your beef burger then you definitely order a raw egg with truffle salt. You will definitely enjoy the already tasty burger even more. The savory broth with some sautéed onion is refreshing to your taste palette. Also the burger is complimented with the salad with sesame dressing.

I will visit Kiwamiya again when I visit Tokyo next.
