Had an excellent meal here! I came here twice because i loved it so much. The first time we arrived at 11.30 AM and had to wait for around 30 minutes, the second visit we arrived at around 5PM and there was no queue.
The Tochigi Beef Sirloin is probably one of the best beef steak i've had, the tenderloin was nice but i still prefer the sirloin.
Hayashi Rice and Omurice has a unique curry sauce that taste like a blend of western and japanese curry, kinda taste like indonesian stew honestly.
The cheesecake with sorbet was a nice finish to the course.
Great service, they explain the dishes if you order the course menu.
Lovely place with a long history, especially romantic to dine with your partner

Japanese "yoshoku" (Western inspired cuisine) restaurant in a historical building. Went for lunch a bit past noon as a group of 2 but there was already a queue of about 10 groups. Took a queuing ticket and waited roughly 30min to be brought in. The large queueing number screen at the front of the historical building is a bit of a mood killer 😅 However, the interior gravitas is immense and it was exciting being able to dine in such a establishment. Went for the hamburg steak dish which was served with a very rich demi-glace sauce with a side of mashed potatoes mixed with bacon, veggies, and beans. The famous "nirvana" cheesecake we had for dessert was also delicious and a must-have.

This is the best coffee shop also selling the best cookie next to tobu nikko station . Cheese cake is really good and you can purchase their cookie and eat at the second floor . It becomes the place for me to hang out while waiting for the train to go back to Tokyo .
