What a lovely place to rest and warm up after walking around the shrine. Love the homey and retro ambiance. Friendly staff. Chai tea and pear tart was nice. There are very few seatings so be prepare to wait if you come in a big group.

This coffee shop has all the makings of what one would expect a cafe to be like. It’s very quaint and quiet, except for the brief rings of a grandfather clock on the hour. Once you walk up a set of creaky stairs, you’ll find limited seating upstairs. You ring a bell for the staff to come take your order.
We ordered the house special coffee and the dutch cold brew. The coffee is very strong and I enjoyed the cozy vibes.

Nice, quaint cafe in an old house. The house has character. The coffee and cakes are good but not great. We waited around 20-30min for our seats.
