The wide variety of fresh-tasting game is always a thrill, and the ability to watch it be prepared only builds excitement before it's served to you.

We've tried the bear (when it's available), rabbit, deer, and boar; it's all been excellent. As long as you're willing to try new things, I recommend coming here once.

The main dish is game meat, and you can enjoy meat that you wouldn't normally eat.
I had mallard duck and pheasant.
Both had no odor, and the red wine went well with the deep-flavored, plump, fruit-flavored red wine.
It was my first time eating pheasant, and although it looked similar in color to chicken, it was chewy and delicious.

The recommended venison tartare and potato salad were also delicious and went well with the alcohol.

We discussed that we would like to pair red wine with such meat, and the staff invited us to a room that looked like a storage room where we could choose wine.

I thought the taste of game meat would be strong, so I chose a slightly heavier Syrah.

After that, we had an assortment of charcoal-grilled game to go with it. You can choose 2 or 3 types of gibier to choose from.

I ate the deer, so I decided to eat the rabbit and the boar.
I was also interested in pheasants and quails, so I'll save that for another time.

Eventually, the charcoal grill comes and we combine it with Syrah. I knew that the combination of the wild flavor of the meat and the strong grape flavor of the wine would go well together, but it was perfect.

Tipsy on the way home, I took in the cheerful and fashionable atmosphere of the city and headed home leisurely and easily.

I would like to try other game meat, so I will go again.
