It’s always great to be in a Japanese cocktail bar, even though it’s branded Nikka they are happy to serve whatever you fancy and they take care in every detail in that. I saw a customer came in and he’s served his regular glass of Guinness before he got himself ready to sit down.
If you are a Nikka fan they stock their distillery specials from Yoichi and Miyagikyo, it’s different from the regular bottling and it’s worth a try.

Lovely wooden atmosphere with calm background music. Depending on the drink, they will let you select the brand used for the base. Everything I have ordered here so far has been splendid. A tad pricy, but worth the experience.

The Nikka branded whiskeys are delicious and interesting, and the staff could not have been friendlier. I speak 3 words of Japanese, and the bartenders speak about the same amount of English, but I still had a fantastic time pantomiming and felt welcomed and able to communicate. I went alone, and would highly recommend this bar for anyone looking for a great drink in a welcoming environment.
