Great wine bar

The wine is quite good and cant find anywhere.
Food is as well good and home made .
Owner lady is alone to do all so take your time and enjoy wine wile she prepare your food.
I definitely recommend.
Open in sunday from lunch too, a perfect brunch spot.

Attitude was pretty disrespectful towards a foreign friend and myself and we were told they are full despite clearly not being so. No further explanation was given. Doesn’t deserve your money.

A wine bar located in Ningyocho that used to be a former tailor. A woman performs one surgery.
I heard that it was always fully booked and I couldn't get in, so I visited by myself on a Sunday afternoon.
From 5pm, seats are fully booked. I had just eaten bread at the cafe, so I ordered two sparkling drinks, a salad, pâté, and bread to make it a quick drink.
There were no other customers.
The owner will explain the recommended wine and sparkling wine at that time. I tried both recommended sparkling drinks and they were delicious. Since I was alone, I couldn't order a lot of food, but if you come with two people and order, I think you'll be able to eat a lot of different things.
Since it's a one-off shop, it might be difficult to order if it gets crowded, so I'm glad I came at this time!

The owner seemed a bit nervous, and sometimes I couldn't understand what he was saying when he was explaining the wine to me (lol), but he also adjusted the amount of salad considering I was alone. .
It is better to read the menu written on the blackboard on the wall.

A small shop located a few minutes walk from the Ningyocho intersection.
It is unusual for the restaurant to be closed on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays, so it is best to make a reservation, but there are times when you can just pop in on the day.
I made a reservation on a Sunday night.

The restaurant has a counter on the 1st floor and tables on the 2nd floor, creating a homely atmosphere that is comfortable even for solo diners.
By the way, the exterior is a sign for a mysterious shoe store.

I went after a meal, so I had a glass of wine, ham and kiwi ricotta salad, onion gratin soup, and pumpkin cheesecake.
I received only.

I looked at other menus, but the menu is mostly snacks to go with the wine, so it might not be suitable for people who want to eat a full meal at the first restaurant.

The food itself is easy to eat and has no taste.
Personally, I was a little less impressed.
I might have liked the cheesecake if it was a little richer. But crème d'ange and tarte tatin (not available this time of year) look delicious, so I'd like to try them again in a cafe setting.

I passed by the store often on my way to Ningyocho Station, and each time I was drawn to the fact that it kept the retro shoe store sign and was always full.

This time, my wish came true and I was able to visit the store.
Three glasses of wine: sparkling, white, and orange (there is no list, just ask).
In addition to the tartine and gratin that I absolutely wanted to try, I ate a lot of other dishes, including the tarte tatin and crème d'ange for dessert!
Everything was delicious, beautifully presented, and matched perfectly with the wine.
Personally, I especially liked the petit choux with raw ham paste and the lemon stewed beef hachinosu...!

The owner of the restaurant, which has two floors, manages everything on his own, but he was very attentive in explaining the food, including providing serving plates before the food was served.
