Pizza Borsa Description
Located in the bustling neighborhood of Ikebukuro in Tokyo, Pizza Borsa is a hidden gem for pizza lovers. What sets Pizza Borsa apart from other pizza joints is their commitment to quality and authenticity. The skilled artisans at Pizza Borsa prepare their pizzas daily, using a traditional wood-fired oven that gives the crust a perfect balance of crispiness on the outside and softness on the inside. The dough is made with only four simple ingredients - flour, water, salt, and yeast - and is left to ferment for over 24 hours, resulting in a light and flavorful base for their pizzas.
But it's not just the dough that makes Pizza Borsa special. The ingredients used in their pizzas are sourced directly from Italy, ensuring an authentic and delicious taste. From the tangy tomatoes to the fragrant olive oil and creamy mozzarella, every bite is a true taste of Italy. Whether you're a pizza connoisseur or just looking for a satisfying meal, Pizza Borsa is the place to be. So why not embark on a culinary journey and indulge in their mouthwatering pizzas?

Definitely one of the very best pizza places in Tokyo. Both the Bismarck and Margherita pizzas were delicious. Tiramisu was also excellent.
Reservations are strongly recommended, and essential for regular meal times.
The dough is a bit more salty than it needs to be. Previously it had been noticeably salty, but on my most recent visit it was too salty, to the point that it is detracting from the flavour. Hopefully they cut it back a bit.

I visited this place for lunch with my kids during our trip to Tokyo.
The pizza, said by an Italian, was pretty tasty, good looking, with nice smell and texture. Cooked on wood oven. Some might want a bigger size, but for me was perfect.
At lunch they offer different set menus which are extremely convenient in term of quality/price ratio. For around 1.200 yen (around 8 euro) we got a cold tea, a salad, a pizza, a small dessert and a coffee or te. There are also other lunch sets slightly more or less expensive.
The place inside is small (12/14 places) so you might need to wait a bit, but the service in our case was pretty quick, so we did not wait a lot.
Staff is very friendly and speak a bit of English. They have also an English menu.
Overall, highly recommended if you are around.

The best pizza in japan!!
Their Margherita is a must have! The best dough, cheese, sauce and olive oil.
We have lunch C set for only ¥1,600 and it came with iced tea, salad, appetizer plate, pizza, dolce and caffe!! It’s unbelievable that they serve this much at this low price in Tokyo, yet the food quality and service are so great.
We arrived 10 minutes before the lunch opening time and we made it to their first round, so recommended to go before the opening hour if you don’t wanna wait in the cue. The wait is definitely worth it though.
