The chef was kind and did his job the best he could, however the entire operation was a fault given the quality of the ingredients weren’t matching the price at all. I appreciate the effort but sorry we didn’t enjoy it. Also don’t book via savoyjapan.com as the restaurants on the website aren’t very good. I wish I could get a refund.

We came in for lunch and to our surprise we were the only ones there. It was truly an intimate experience. The food was phenomenal!!! I've never had such a tender steak.

Our time at Teppanyaki was beyond amazing, leaving us with a seriously happy food memory. The real heroes of the night were the perfectly grilled steaks on our table – shoutout to the chefs for their culinary wizardry! But what made this dinner stand out was Chef Aoi's incredible hospitality.

We had a special request for dinner, and Chef Aoi not only nailed it but did so with such warmth. Taking a sec to chat with us, Chef Aoi turned our dietary preferences into a custom dining experience. Going the extra mile to make a meal that catered to our needs was seriously impressive.

Chef Aoi wasn't just a culinary maestro; he was also a genuinely nice person. His friendly vibe added a whole new layer of enjoyment to our dinner. It's not every day you find a chef who's both a pro in the kitchen and super accommodating. Teppanyaki Shibuya wasn't just a meal for us; it was a night filled with top-notch food and some seriously awesome hospitality.

If you're on the lookout for a spot where the chef's talent matches their kindness, Teppanyaki Shibuya is the place. Massive thanks to Chef Aoi and the whole crew for making our dining experience way beyond what we expected – hands down, a standout experience!

Amazing place. Hidden in the 3rd floor of a building, right next to a Kombini... heaven! We had our best meal in Tokyo here: lobster, wagyu beef, sashimi... Cooked and / or prepped right in front of our eyes.

Food was tasty, chef was friendly, and the atmosphere of the place was incredible.

Highly recommend!

The reviews are FAKE (if you read them it becomes obvious, I did not do my due diligence and got punished accordingly)

This is a dishonest establishment pretending to be a high end teppanyaki restaurant, which it is absolutely not. The only thing in common with a high end teppanyaki is the prices that they are charging. It is quite hard to find outright bad food in Japan but here you definitely can!

Some(!) of the reasons for this:

* Lowest grade ingredients, from simple vegetables all the way to the meat.
* Very low skilled chef. Awkward cooking, dropping items, spraying guests with drops of hot butter. Meat was ordered medium, delivered below rare
* Dirty, FILTHY rags are used to clean the grill and spatulas which are not replaced after a meal and are used over and over
* We visited at 7:30PM on a Sunday. We were the ONLY guests. You are led down a dark corridor and by the time you realize this, you are sitting down with menus in hand.

All in all, this is the first time I rate 1 star but sadly I cannot think of one redeeming thing for this place...
