Shogun Burger Shinjuku

Very busy shop and with good reason, delicious burgers with great variety.
I tried the onion mozzarella and the regular with egg. Both very good but the mozzarella was my favorite.

You line up to order at the kiosk and get you receipt as well as order slip. Then you line up for a seat inside. When you get seated, you give them your order slip and wait for your number to be called so they can deliver the food to your table. Classic ketchup, mustard, and hot sauce are provided.

It was quite busy walking through the Kabukicho area at night to the burger restaurant. At the entrance there is a machine to place your order. I've ordered the double cheeseburger set with the Shogun beer. The burger was pretty big with two wagyu beef patties. It was tender and rich but still very meaty and not too fatty even though wagyu meat was used. It was nice how the cheese was melted onto the patties. Fries were nice and crisp and the basil dipping sauce was very tasty. The beer was refreshing and helped cut through the greasiness of the meal. Quite pricey and the meal took some time to arrive but was worth getting for the quality and taste of the meat.

A visit to Shogun Burger for their Wagyu burgers was a delightful experience. The burger exceeded expectations with its rich flavor and perfect cooking. What pleasantly surprised me was finding my beloved “melon” drink, a rarity in most places. The fries were a perfect balance of crispy exterior and soft interior. Overall, it was a top-notch experience, and I’ll definitely be returning for more of these fantastic flavors!
