Steak Izuna

A homely experience. The chef and his wife are friendly and accommodating. We didn't speak japanese but they had fun using the translation app with us.

We came in on a quiet night so it was just us. The chef has a great sense of humor and enjoys entertaining his guests.

The food was delicious! We had tenderloin and sirloin set meals. Get the garlic rice upgrade.

It's like going to Grandma's and Grandpa's. They ask about you and tell you stories.

This is a report from lunch time use.
There are many people's comments regarding the food, so this will be a review from a different perspective.
⚫︎The cooking process begins right in front of your eyes, and you can see the faces of the chefs until the meal is finished. After the meal, you can have a fun conversation with the chef.
You might enjoy interesting conversations that you wouldn't imagine from your serious gaze at work.
The entrance is a little difficult to find, but please have the courage to open the door.

I passed by the store several times and was curious about it, so I went in on Saturday. Even though it's lunch, it's a teppanyaki steak that's grilled right in front of you.
There was salad, miso soup, rice, pickles, steak, and grilled vegetable bean sprouts.

The restaurant is run by the owner and his wife, who are both from Niigata, so the rice is delicious and made from Niigata.

The evening pottery menu is also made with a focus on domestic produce.

Pickles are homemade rice bran pickles.
15 years old! Nowadays, many shops purchase pickles from vendors that contain various additives, but homemade pickles are precious.

Even on his days off, the master comes to clean the shop so it doesn't get greasy.

It's amazing to be able to eat teppanyaki like this with the meat at this price (1760 yen)! !

The entrance was hidden and I couldn't find it.
I tried to give up and go home, but after wandering around a few times, I finally got it all the way in!
It's hard to understand, but please take a look inside.

I visited for lunch 😊
The basic lunch is one fillet steak,
Immediately after sitting down,
I'm not asked how to grill the meat,
Garlic🧄You will be asked if you want it with or without chips😅
Tea, towels, and original soy sauce
Shortly after it was set and the salad 🥗 was served,
The chef came out and
Stir-fried bean sprouts, garlic chips,
The fillet was grilled one by one,
Meat and bean sprouts are served on separate plates.
Bean sprouts have a light salty taste, so you can enjoy them between eating meat.
It makes for a perfect chopstick rest👌
Even if you eat meat with garlic,
Either as is or with our original soy sauce,
It was delicious👍
In addition, miso soup and pickles with clams,
The rice was also delicious ✌️
