Even Chinese food taste great in Japan. My favourite here was definitely the deep fried pork rib. The flour on the outside was crispy while the meat on the inside was tender and juicy. You can kind of tell when you are eating the fried rib back in the US that they were frozen. You won’t have none of that here. The sharks fin soup was a little on the saltier side for my taste, but otherwise it was really competent!

Very good restaurant located in the Okura Hotel. The room is beautiful, the service was quite excellent and the food was good. I ordered the special April lunch, which was a number of small courses and much more than I could eat and it included cold appetizers, soup dumpling, fried turnip in rice cake, beef with zucchini, braised shrimp with chili sauce, fried rice in lettuce soup and a refreshing almond jelly with lychees. I liked lunch although it was a little salty and I wish I ordered a La carte the dishes that I really love. The problem is that I was eating alone and couldn’t order several dishes so the lunch combination was the next best thing. There’s also a less expensive and more typical lunch special with fried rice and eggroll and your choice of meat. The thing that stands out the most, however, was the great service which was impeccable. I recommend going with a group and ordering a number of a La carte dishes to share.

Had a nice relaxed pace lunch course to celebrate a birthday in a private room. Food is prepared without overpowering the ingredients and was perfect.
