Tōryū Kōjimachi

Tradicional Chinese restaurant in Kojimachi county. Great environment and very tasty food, though the prices are high. My favorite dishes are 担々麺 and chicken wings.

Stopped here for lunch because of their wide menu selection and we knew we wouldn't be disappointed when we saw it was filled with locals.
The service is great... friendly and attentive.
The menu had English descriptions and some pics so it was easy to order. The chicken cashew and beef with oyster sauce needed little more flavoring but were decent. We found that they thicken the sauces too much which usually means too much cornflour and this impacts the flavor.
The fried rice was delicious. The fried shrimp balls were good too and my kids really enjoyed the noodle soup which resembled Ramen.
They offered us free matcha flavored ice cream which was very tasty and very kind.

Definitely more than 2-3x the cost of regular Chinese restaurant lunches, but the flavor here is SOOO on point. 👌

After about 10 minutes, a man appeared by himself.

Will the stay be around 20 minutes?

The set meal is a little expensive at around 4,000 yen.
So I thought it was fast (⌒-⌒; )

The spiciness of the soup is exquisite 👏

simple orange soup
It's not as spicy as I imagined (though it will come a little later)
The richness of the sesame seeds and the spiciness are perfect.
The noodles are also a little soft
It's really delicious with the soup.

I drank all the soup (lol)

Also, the service in black clothes is top notch.
It was truly the best shop. Hats off to you.
