The best dish for me was Crab chawan-mushi! Oh my..... so delicious. The meat was from Omi, Shiga. Also delicious. Excellent balance in taste and volume too. If you go with more than 3 people and then they won’t charge you for the private room.
It’s only course menus here.

Amazing. Almost secret in nature. No signage, a bar upstairs (no signage) unassuming and bespoke.
Mr Kadowaki is a genius.
We sat and watched his mastery.
Food was exceptional. Black truffle on everything, honey with white truffle. Abalone. Smokey tea.
Sake was beautiful.
When the meal was complete. Mr Kadowaki escorted us out, the Geisha everyone pleasant and wonderful experience.
A must do if you you visit Japan but costly $1100 AUD for two.
