Lovely place for a dinner splurge. Service was warm and friendly. The owner/ chef speaks English which was very helpful because he could explain what was in each dish. Not in exact detail but enough to help you understand what went into making a dish. Each serving is small but just the right size to allow you to sample more of other food. There were many dishes- I particularly enjoyed the sashimi and assortment which featured a miso fermented egg. Everything is seasonal so don’t expect to get to order specific dishes.

Had an amazing time to celebrate our anniversary at Kihuu at the start of 2020. The food and servewares were just out of this world. Sourced from the best and freshest ingredients, each dish was placed in container that was itself, a piece of art. Never have I dreamed of drinking sake from a 100 yo bottle. Amazing experience overall.

Private room setting for 3 to 4 with full Kaiseki course paired with sake or wines (limited selection). Friendly English-speaking chef. Lots of variety of seafood in sashimi sushi n soap presentation. Overall quality very good n filling. Recommended.
