Ginza Kyubey

This was such a fun experience in Japan, but far too expensive for what it is. First we walked in and were taken up an elevator and removed our shoes and coats. My family and I sat in a private room (booked beforehand) and were given warm towels to wipe our hands. I would recommend not bringing kids and keeping this an adults only thing , (it is very quiet to where they want to fall asleep or get bored). We did one the bigger menu options and our server brought our food to us. We felt rushed the whole time even though everyone was nice. We did 12 courses in an hour. In end, you can find sushi just as good for a WAYY cheaper price in Tokyo.

Ordered IGA set. Chef was interactive and engaging. Sushi and sashimi were great and fresh! The live ebi was an experience to see how chef made into a sushi 😅 I felt bad for the prawn and it will be the same as eating live octopus in Korea. Great place!

They offer Omakase style sushi with various price ranges to choose from. Honestly, sushi in Japan is always delicious, and this place is no exception. The chef, although seasoned (let's just say experienced!), can speak a bit of English for those who don't speak Japanese. Definitely worth a try! 🍣

Securing a seat in high-end omakase sushi restaurants can be tricky for solo diners, especially when language barriers make phone reservations daunting. But fortune smiled on me, nabbing the last available spot for the day, and it was a game-changer.

The experience was sublime, easily ranking as one of my top omakase adventures, and I've had my fair share. At around 250,000 per person, the price might seem steep, but the culinary journey it buys you is unparalleled. Each dish was a revelation, crafted with care and expertise by the sushi chef, whose skill and passion turned the meal into a memorable experience.

I left the restaurant already dreaming of my next visit, which, fingers crossed, will be in just two weeks! For anyone looking to indulge in a truly exceptional sushi experience, this place is a must-visit. The combination of exquisite food, warm hospitality, and the intimate setting made for an unforgettable day. Can't wait to do it all over again!

Masterfully crafted and delicious! From start to finish, the experience was a bit of an adventure, but customers are guided through expectations and customs accordingly. A small, floor seated bar where customers are served from knife to plate, one by one, and are expected eat immediately after serving. Really wonderful.

Reservations by phone, although I believe visiting and reserving is okay.
