Reservations are highly recommended since it is small. It seems that they are very busy on Fridays and Saturdays (all-you-can-eat buffet during lunch). Came here on a Tuesday evening and there were only 2 other customers. The waitress speaks a bit of English and is very kind and helpful. If you can speak Japanese, the chef enjoys talking to the customers. The lunch menu offers more options, however, for dinner you can only order 1 set dish (3,500 yen) or a single sushi (around 400 yen/each).
Overall a great experience for foreigners. Lunch may be a better choice for those with more options.
