The store is located in the restaurant area of ​​Japan Education Center B1.

The restaurant was already almost full, and I was able to find a seat at the counter right away.

There are about 6 counter seats and 3 table seats.
Customers come one after another.

I ordered seared horse mackerel, sardine sashimi set meal, and small green onions.

Everything is delicious.
Both horse mackerel and sardines have been carefully prepared so there are no small bones. A sashimi set meal that has no smell and is so fresh costs 1,100 yen. The cost performance is also the best.

Of course, the rice and miso soup are both delicious.
I love the miso soup with clams.

Negima is a sweet and spicy stew of tuna and green onions that goes well with rice.

The flavor of fresh horse mackerel is supported by the small onion and ginger, which harmoniously combine to fill my brain with umami.
I'll tell you...

I thought, ``No, I'll just have to eat white food,'' and stuffed my mouth with it, but I was mesmerized by the perfectly cooked texture.

In that case, I slurped down the miso soup, and the flavor of fresh clams dominated my mouth...

Ah, sometimes deliciousness is violence. 5 seconds before I was seriously knocked out. I come to this store when I want to see the hard work of craftsmen...

We moved to the first basement floor of the Education Hall, about 100 meters closer to Jimbocho Station from our original location. It's in the deepest part of the basement, so the entrance may be hard to find if you're visiting for the first time.
I'm very happy with the menu, prices, and quality. In particular, I think that the cost performance of the horse mackerel sashimi, sardine sashimi, and green onion for lunch is the best.
After the relocation, the restaurant is now only known to those in the know, but I'm sure there will be a line like before, so we recommend that you arrive with plenty of time to spare.

I visited Hige Kan for lunch today. Having said that, it's been a long time since I worked in Jimbocho, so I won't have a chance to go there unless the timing really suits Higekan. This was my first visit since the store moved to the Education Hall. I have a few favorite restaurants to go to for lunch in Jimbocho, but as everyone has commented, I think this is probably the best. It's really dangerous here. I had lunch again today, and the quality has not changed, which is amazing. It's been almost 10 years since I first visited, so I can't find a restaurant that can compete with this place, including cost performance.
My recommendation is to add the horse mackerel and green onion. Sardines and bonito are delicious, but when you come here, I'd like you to try the horse mackerel tataki. Also, Negima.
This was nearly 10 years ago, so I don't know if it's reliable, but apparently sushi at night costs over 10,000 yen. Now I might do more.
I'd like to try sushi. I'm sure the general's commitment is amazing.
