Hinokizaka

The restaurant offers splendid views of Tokyo combined with a pleasant and welcoming ambience. We had dinner in the sushi bar and ordered the sazanami course with dry Sake. At the end of the course we also tried some mackerel and very fatty tuna nigiri out of a wide selection available in the fish box shown to us. Every single course in our meal was excellent in taste, balance and quality. We got assigned a great chef who throughout the meal explained what was served and very discreetly followed our reactions to make sure we are satisfied. Our waiter was very attentive, helped us select our course and the sake to accompany it. They both walked out with us in the end as we chatted about places we’re visiting in Japan. This was an excellent culinary experience for us and we highly recommend a visit to this restaurant.

One of the best lunches I had in Tokyo, what an irony that it was under our noses all the while, instead of going out and hunting for recommendations. Wait staff were extremely polite and helpful even by japanese standards. Lunch had a spectacular view of the city. Simple food done well.

Fabulous restaurant on top of one of the highest buildings om Tokyo. I can highly recommend the Kaiseki dinner here. I had several great evenings here with perfect service and a very welcoming can caring hosts. I can highly recommend going here.
