Saw a cockroach crawling at the stove wall and the chef used the same white towel that he’s using the hold the wok handle to crush the cockroach and continued cooking nonchalantly 🥲

Cleanliness is highly questionable.

I’m a tourist and I chanced upon this via this great google reviews when I was in the vicinity!

Reached 10mins after opening and I got a seat immediately. But shortly after me, there was a short queue which is quick to clear.

There’s no English menu.
Just order Japonis their classic or take a picture of the random photo of their food and show it to the cook.

Payment via cash only, to be paid at the start of the counter after the meal.

Taste is average at best and it’s not tasty at all😂
I guessed it’s popular amongst locals due to the price and ease.
Tourists do not need to waste time to queue.

Even at 2pm people will come to line up here! The spaghetti comes in generous portions and surprisingly didn't feel overly heavy afterwards. The Napolitan and Jericho spaghetti were both delicious - not too acidic on the tomato sauce for the Napolitan and the Shiso was a great addition to the Jericho! At first sight around lunch-time there is always a very long line of salarymen and women waiting to squeeze in to get their fill of pasta. So you sit down, the staff will serve you a cup or tea and when you ready, you tell them what you want. Now the menu is above you and there are like framed pictures of the pasta with a description of it and the price. Everything is in Japanese so it's impossible to communicate with them (unless you can speak Japanese) so what I do is, take a picture of the food I want and just show them the picture. When you do this they will automatically give you the normal medium size so if you want large size just say 'Omori and that means large size. Even the large size leaves you wanting more. On the table they have Tabasco, sprinkle Parmesan cheese and salt/pepper. The pasta is very simple in preparation and the quality of the ingredients are very simple too but for some reason the taste is very satisfactory. I won't say it's amazing or mind-blowing but it's just simple and tasty pasta. Also the prices are all around 550-800 yen depending on the size and it's fast service. There is also free wifi if you have AU.

A cheap and delicious Japanese twist on spaghetti. It's literally a hole in the wall with 14 counter seats. Even at 11.30 there's a queue of at least 15 people. I'd say it's worth a wait, but get there early. You know a place is good when it's packed with salary men.
