My first omakase experience in Japan! I chose this place because it was close to the hotel and allowed seating of one guest. Others were minimum 2 guest. Also easy to make reservations.

This is a 6 seat place, so it is super intimate. Chef was so kind, we communicated through Google translate. He was very accommodating. Asked if I would like anything to drink (other than water) I decided to just stick with water and no alcohol pairing because I knew I was going to get really full. Asked if the amount of rice was okay and even asked if I was full. I’m a very shy quiet person so he was trying to engage me more. Even was translating what he is serving. I’m sorry if I was an inconvenience chef. Thank you for catering. Delicious and beautiful. I can also only imagine how much dishes they go through haha

He seems to serve you at your own pace. I was there for a little over 2 hours but a few minutes of it was just us talking.

I came by myself since the others had no interest but there were 2 other pairs there and they were nice.

Place was a little hard to find. We were kind of confused but walked down a few steps and there it was to the right. Obvious door.

Had three different Omakase in our time here and this is hands down the best.

The price is reasonable and it's a very good Edomae sushi experience. Adhering to tradition and fresh and original flavors, there are also many types of wine.
