We each had 130g of A5 Kobe beef at Bifuteki Kawamura in Ginza, and it was incredible. The beef was perfectly cooked, melt-in-your-mouth tender, and full of rich, buttery flavor. The staff were also very friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. It was a truly unforgettable experience and worth every bite!

While the food tasted great. I had a constant feeling for being rushed. An unpleasant feeling that made the experience not great. We didn’t have a reservation so I’m going to be lenient. The service wasn’t particularly horrible. I know that there is a language barrier. Though, I felt like we were looked down upon. As if we couldn’t afford the place. Being from Denmark we might have a different standard for service but this unfortunately doesn’t not live up to its price point. This is my honest review. Take it as you will.

We made reservations about a week in advance and had an easy time navigating the website to do so. When we got there, the staff attended us right away even though we were about 15 minutes early which was very nice. We were sat in a private room in front of a grill to have our own chef prepare our meal once we ordered. I got the Tajima lunch steak and my friends got the Kobe. I wish I would have also gotten the Kobe since it was a lot better than mine. O well! It was still an amazing experience and we all enjoyed our food. I personally felt it was barely enough value for what we paid which is actually a win!

My husband and I came here whilst on our trip to Tokyo and were blown away by the quality of the food and service. We were given a complimentary drink (we chose beer) and chose the Kobe and Tajima Lunch set. From start to the beginning, amazing service and our wonderful chef with amazing English explained everything and tips on how to eat the dishes! Food was so good we almost shed a tear. Would definitely come back again ☺️

The chefs make the Kobe beef on the hot plate in front of you, they have grade 7 -13 quality. They also have private dining rooms - perfect for those business meetings.

Service levels are 5* and the waiters are fast. The clientele in the restaurant are top class.
