Best sushi we've ever had, phenomenal experience

I have frequented this restaurant for 20 years, and find still the best Sushi restaurant in the world. They never take reservations, so that you need to come early time if you really want to get in.

The owner looks old-fashioned but is very kind when you talk to him, and it's a wonderful sushi restaurant with a clean and atmospheric atmosphere. This style of ordering according to your preference has become rare these days.
It's also great that you don't have to make any reservations, you just come in first.

First, I toast with Ebisu beer, then immediately switch to alcohol and proceed with ``Abalone Liver Dressing'', ``Conger Eel Grilled Pheasant'', ``Simmered Squid'' and then nigiri.
Everything is already delicious! It's so delicious that it tastes like a dessert and you'll want to lick it all the time.
Some people write about the temperature of the toppings, but the order is based on the customer's preference, rather than a predetermined topping like in Omakase. Still, I think it's a fairly high-quality topping made with the knife skills of a craftsman.
However, the price is surprisingly reasonable.
I've seen some recent posts about people being scared by the atmosphere of the store, but I wonder what would have happened a few years ago when Mr. Ozasa was there, haha.

[Ozasa Sushi] Authentic Edomae sushi worth eating in Tokyo

Kozasa Sushi is located in a residential area about a 10-minute walk south of Shimokitazawa Station in Setagaya Ward. This is a genuine Edomae sushi restaurant where reservations are not accepted and you can enjoy only what you like.
The customer base is mainly local regulars, the unpretentious atmosphere of old-fashioned street sushi, and the exquisite ate. There's nothing to say since you can enjoy this at a relatively reasonable price. The grilled conger eel, abalone liver with soy sauce, and the nigiri of horse mackerel, sea bream, and prawns are a must-try! ? I think these are the kinds of sushi restaurants that are worth going out of your way to eat in Tokyo.
