The proprietors, Kuma-san and Miharu-san are Japan's national treasure and their hidden shop Kunn (Japanese for smoke) is Tokyo's best kept secret. No menu, hard to find deep in a dark Akasaka alley, elegant and quiet but comfortable and warm. Heartful and original Japanese cuisine with a smoky and delicate twist, sourced by a life time of research of far-away fishermen and various other suppliers of superb seasonal Japanese ingredients, this will be an occasion you will forever treasure. Tip: one of world's the rarest collections of single malts and vintage Cuban cigars is kept here. Bonus points if you ask about Josko Rencel artisanal wines!
