This is a delicious bakery that you definitely want to buy while using Nagoya Station. The balance between taste and price is wonderful.
I used the Shinkansen to travel during the year-end and New Year holidays, and on that occasion I stopped by "Le Supreme." The main store is located near Sakae City Station, and both are famous stores that have been selected as one of the 100 famous bread stores in EAST.
"Le Supreme." at Meieki is a food store on the second basement floor of Nagoya Takashimaya, so the space is small. However, the products are displayed compactly, and you can place the products on the tray while waiting for your turn at the register.
On this day, I purchased four items: ``Fried Curry Bread,'' ``Croissant Enverset,'' ``Maple French,'' and ``Curry Galette.''
I had planned to eat it on the Shinkansen, but I was so tired that I slept most of the way to Tokyo, so I decided to eat it at home.
Croissant Enverset...It is said to be made using a "reverse folding method" in which the dough is folded in butter. Whenever I go to a bakery, I always buy croissants, and the taste of each croissant varies greatly.Even though the ingredients are the same, there are big differences in taste.
This croissant has a very nice buttery aroma that comes out after the crunchy texture, and it has just the right amount of sweetness and is delicious enough to stand the test of time. That's excellent. The price of 270 yen including tax is also very reasonable.
Curry galette... Lots of vegetables wrapped in hard rye bread and spicy black curry are really delicious. It's delicious whether you reheat it or leave it as is.
Fried curry bread... Curry bread is usually fried, so I don't know why they call it "fried", but it's consistently delicious.
This will be even more delicious if you reheat it before eating.
Maple French...French toast with a sweet and eggy flavor that can be enjoyed as a dessert at the end. The maple syrup has a nice aroma and is so delicious that you'll want to have another one.
Overall, I'm very grateful to be able to buy this level of delicious bread so close to the station, and if you're using Meieki, it's well worth taking a short detour to buy some bread.
All four breads I bought this time were delicious. I'll be using Meieki again in the future, so I'd like to try the bread I didn't buy this time.
