Fabulous quiet spot for lunch, 10-15 mins walk from Tokyo station. Very good quality food and delightful service. We had set lunch ¥950 - great value.

Lunch review - I went here on a Friday because I wanted a light meal in the neighborhood (Kyobashi) and because its head chef is a disciple of Sushi Sho.

It’s a small and cozy space with a counter capacity of 10. The lunch consists of 9 courses including soup - the food comes out fast and the head chef makes all the nigiri sushi in front of you. It’s a quick meal and you can be in and out in 30 minutes, but I stayed for about 45 minutes (there was a middle aged Japanese couple who were the last to come in at 1p and left before 1:30p).

I was the only foreigner there for lunch - everyone else appeared to be a regular based on how they were conversing with the head chef.

I think this was fine for lunch, especially since I had other places to visit. The only possible drawback for some is the Uni nigiri - the sea urchin is slightly fermented and topped with salt.

The price for lunch (Omakase set meal is the only thing available) during my visit was 1,650 yen and very reasonable.

Not easy to find since it’s on a side street.

PS: Another reviewer posted incorrect info of the lunch price being 950 yen — that’s for a different sushi restaurant called Esshu which used to be in Kyobashi, but closed in 2019.
