Excellent sushi at old school spot known for training many of Tokyos top chefs

I found this restaurant on Google Maps, and it's a retro shop where both the waiter and the waiter are run by old ladies. It has a warm and cozy atmosphere that makes you feel like you've come back to a house in the countryside.

For lunch, I went all out and had the bluefin tuna bowl (2,200 yen). Other menu items include tuna bowl for 1,200 yen, tuna and squid bowl for 1,500 yen, tuna and scallop bowl for 1,800 yen, and bluefin tuna and Indian tuna bowl for 2,000 yen.

It was an early lunch time at 11:30 (they open at 11:00), but the bluefin tuna bowl was sold out after this order. Perhaps the bluefin tuna bowl is only available in limited numbers.

There's a bit of a 5-10 minute wait for the food to be served, but it's a comfortable restaurant so it doesn't bother me at all.

The most important thing is the taste of the bluefin tuna bowl...it's the best! It's medium-fatty, has just the right amount of fat, and is just delicious! ! At 2,200 yen, it's a good price for lunch, but it's overwhelmingly delicious and the meal is extremely satisfying.

On the way, I was given a small slice of pickled tuna as a service...which was also delicious.

When I was watching a foreign customer pay the bill, I noticed that he was a really honest and straightforward waiter who refused to tip.

The hospitality and food are really great, so I highly recommend it. However, please note that payment is only in cash. Please give it a try if you're in the area.

I was drawn to the signboard on the way to Nihonbashi Station and decided to take a look at the shop.
The interior has the feel of an old-fashioned sushi restaurant.
Guided by a cheerful lady, we ate tuna and conger eel rice bowl.
I was very satisfied with the melty tuna and fluffy conger eel.

Advanced domestic bluefin tuna 2200 yen
Intermediate Indian Ocean tuna, about 1800 yen? I forgot
Average grade bigeye tuna 1200 yen

I received 2200 yen of natural raw bluefin tuna caught in Shiogama, Miyagi Prefecture.

Seriously? ! The part that is close to Chutoro!
The high quality tuna fat will melt.
The taste is smooth, but you can feel the sweetness in the aftertaste.
It goes incredibly well with vinegared rice.

On the way, the hostess served us pickled bigeye tuna.
This is where I want you to feel the difference from bigeye. I'm happy.
