Best of the Best Izakaya in Shinjuku area. I didn't have a reservations. But owner was very kind enough to get my seat ready. ***(I recommend Reservations.) Sashimi was so fresh that melting in my mouth, yakitori was really tasty. And anago eel was so sweet and full of flavor. Shitaky mushroom salads are so delicious. OMG I had to drink few shochu. I came to Tokyo so many times, this Izakaya will be my best place to go for a drink and eat. Thank you so much. I will be back again very soon.

This place is a gem. We stumbled on this place trying to find late night food near our hotel. This is a mom and pop shop, and mostly locals were inside. The food is great and the service was awesome, despite us getting there almost at last call. The menu was in Japanese so we used google lens and it worked like a charm. We werent able to get some yakitori because they were almost closed but they still had plenty of fish! One of the best sushi we had during our stay in Shinjuku. Would definitely go back!

Went 45 mins before the last order.
Used Google lens, Google photos and past izakaya experience to order my food.
There was no English menu and conversing wasn't easy.
But it didn't matter.
Food was great, cheap and portions were larger compared back in Singapore.
It's on the 3rd floor, opposite Lawson's. Look out for the name of the restaurant.
It's obvious it only caters to the Japanese but if non-japanese speakers wanna take a risk. Its sure worth it.

Nice little izakaya on 3rd floor. Family run, grandma and grandpa working hard! You can order on tablet, English available. Delicious food. Sashimi was fresh, sashimi salad generous, toro taku really good. Recommended!
