Walked past this spot in Shinsen a while ago and have had it saved since it looked super cute. Finally went spontaneously for a dinner there and it was a great experience! Service was very friendly, dishes were delicious, ambiance is great for a date. We got the course menu ☺️ highly recommend sitting at the counter if you can!

While it is going to cost, I think the service and professionalism of the team goes a long way. They asked from the beginning about things I may not like and modified every dish accordingly without making anyone in our group feel awkward for having things they couldn't eat.
I would say it was trendy without being pretentious.
