This place is amazing! We were a little intimidated heading out to find somewhere near our hotel with no ability to read menus in Japanese!
Rodin has awesome recommendations but better food!
We had the Kobe beef, pork cutlet and prawn cutlet curries. All outstanding. Huge thanks to the patient chef/owner and the English menu helped a little too.
Go if you are nearby.

We came on a rainy Sunday night, we sat and it was warm and pleasant inside, you order by a machine. We ordered the katsu curry and the green curry- both were delicious. The portions are very generous! And there is a nice variety of sauces and spices at each table which is always an appreciated addition.

Reserved for lunch via Tablelog.
I went with the omelette & chicken curry. Decent, mildly flavourful curry with an interesting presentation and good volume.
My expectations were high given the reviews on Tablelog being excellent. Whilst the curry was good, I would not say it was worth the price / as good as the reviews had suggested - at least compared to other Japanese curries I have tried. That and perhaps the meat portions could be more generous (in comparison to the sauce & rice)
Overall, worth visiting at least once. Perhaps it could be better if you tried another variety of curry!
