Decent place, especially if you're a student trying to grab a bite. I really like the garlic in the ramen, and the portions are huge. I learned the hard way - do NOT order the large portion, however hungry you are - it is much larger than you expect. The line is long, but I think it's definitely worth the wait, but the service from the employees is very poor because of the many restrictions of the restaurant - the point is to go in, eat, and then get out.

Very good Jiro inspired ramen shop near Higashi Kitazawa station. The hiyashi chuka, which is only available in the summer, is definitely my favorite thing on the menu. Definitely worth the hour wait

Very voluminous, oily, garlic, caloric jiro-type ramen.
The food quality is great and the price is worth its taste unless you dislike the jiro ramen. This ramen shop is always full of people so the staff made their own rule to run the business efficiently and keep the place quietly. The problem is that the first visitors (including my first visit) do not well recognize about the rule. If someone breaks the rule such as playing smartphone games, the staff get upset and say “No phones while eating”. Although you do not make them angry, you can leave the shop only with the good experience. But if something wrong happens, you will eat ramen having the bad feelings.
It feels like I just focus on telling the bad things about the shop, but my point is you might have bad experience. Other than that, the food is very good and I recommend to visit this place!

Although the staff may seem very scary to some as you get yelled at if you talk loud outside or even talk inside the restaurant, the ramen that you get served erases all of that. For a reasonable price, you get a lot of noodles (even for the regular size) as well as extra toppings and a customizable amount of もやし. BEST RAMEN IN THE WORLD
