My wife and I had a wonderful and authentic sushi experience! Jiro-san himself was there along with his son and 3-4 other chefs/staff. The food was top-quality and the experience was similar to what we expected after seeing the documentary, and it's something we'll talk about for a long time. Definitely put this on your checklist of things to do in Tokyo...if you can get in!

Food: you can really feel the freshness & how premium their ingredients are.

For foreigner & youngsters, most would feel that their vinegar are on the strong side for the rice. But it is how a traditional sushi were made and they have perfected their craft for decades.

Atmosphere: is definitely tense, he was very quick in preparing his dishes. 20 nigiri within 25+ minutes. Only come here when your focus is on the dishes itself, so refrain from talking or taking pictures.
