Chef Toshio Fukumoto was superb in his mastery of sushi and sashimi. Everything was just perfect and we were wowed many many times through out the entire experience starting from the appetizers. The staff was kind enough to show us the pictures of each item, and told us how to enjoy the food in the best way possible, with English explanations. Chef Fukumoto timed each course perfectly with the raw material, sauce and art of preparation of the food. All in all, it was such a blast and we would recommend the omakase experience to anyone who would like to taste the best sashimi and sushi possible.

Mr Fukumoto and his Team are absolutely perfect. We had the pleasure to order the Nigiri Omakase Set and every Single piece was of the highest quality. Its a pleasure to see Mr Fukumoto working on the food and the team explains every fish and how to eat it the right way. We travel the World for the best sushi places and this is one of them.

This was the sushi restaurant that we dreamed of. Tucked away in a chic neighborhood, Sushi Fukumoto is an experience. Watching the sushi being prepared in front of you, you appreciate how much mastery and care is taken. The food was excellent, the service was second to none. This was unforgettable.

Mr. Fukumoto has been perfecting his craft for 40+ years - and it shows.

He loves everything that he does, and teaches it even to gaijin like us.

Everything was delectable, perfectly balanced, and with excellent instructions provided to us by the waiter/chef/apprentice who is lucky enough to be learning from such a master.

It's a little tough to find so make sure you don't walk past! The sign is simply the name of the restaurant in Japanese. Like everything else about the venue - understated and tasteful.
