I'm no sushi coneisseur, so as for the quality of the food itself, I can only say it tasted great.
As other reviews have mentioned, the place has some grime to it. If you're screamish when it comes to grime, maybe stay clear.
All of that being said, this place is an absolute gem when it comes to the feeling of authenticity. It looks and feels like the kind of place that has existed for 100 years, with the same local patrons visiting since day one. I loved the grime! I loved the old, slow owner/chef who took his time, with a smile! I love the fact that not a single English word was to be found anywhere!
I can highly recommend this place if you want to feel just a bit like a local.

I think this is Edo, and I always respect it.
It's just a one-off operation, so if you go, it might be easier for both parties to rent out the counter for about six people. I love it.
