Apparently the place has been running for decades and you can see why. The taste is different to any other kind of ramen and, despite having a strong flavor, it doesn’t get heavy. However, be very prepared: it is probably the largest bowl of ramen I’ve had in Japan (and there isn’t any ōmori option). The pork was smoky and I ordered additional menma that was good too.
My only suggestion is to try to get there before 12, where the wait could be less than ten minutes. After that it can extend to up to 30 minutes.

This, is the definition of a Ramen spot. Like the ones us visitors hunt for years and never stumble across. A local favorite. Like, a line out side at lunch on a Wednesday. There's not a huge selection, but you get a good mix of quality and quantity.

They're fast, the broth is right, the noodles thick, the pork tasty, nothing's fancy. It's about a skip and a jump from the train station so no reason to NOT stop by.

Scalding hot ramen, huge portions of shoyu broth, noodles, and pork. Totally worth it, love this place. Very old school — not much on the menu. It doesn’t look like they have great English support from the outside but everyone in there spoke to me in English and ordering was fine. During busy times they’ll come outside and ask you your order in advance to speed things up. Not great for groups, but I went there with two cousins and we had a great time.

Highly recommend!!! My favorite ramen in Tokyo.
